Simple and local, these activities suit both families and those looking for something more active.
Two riding centres nearby offer lessons and guided hacks, while pony rides can be arranged on the estate for younger guests. Cycling is also well served: both electric mountain bikes and road bikes can be hired locally, opening up quiet routes through hills, olive groves and vineyards. For walkers, trekking paths run directly from the villa into woodland and open fields, with routes that can be adapted to time and pace.

For swimming, the unspoilt River Merse above Brenna offers clear, wild water and shaded banks, while the Tuscan coast lies just over an hour away, with long beaches and the protected landscapes of the Maremma. Closer to the villa, there are two modern waterparks for families. These can be combined easily with other outings, leaving time for a relaxed return to Cetinale in the evening.
